Reconciliation

The Sacrament of Confession should be an ordinary part of the life of every Catholic Christian. The Church strongly recommends frequent confession. At the Church of the Blessed Sacrament, there are several times designated each week for confession:

Tuesday 5:30 - 6:00pm
Saturday 3:30 - 4:00pm
Sunday: 12:00pm (Spanish)

If you wish to make a confession by appointment, call Fr. Lonzo at the parish office at (740) 345‑4290.

Confessions are currently being heard in the Marian Room in the vestibule of the church.

Children make their first Confession in the second grade, prior to receiving First Holy Communion.  

Preparation for the sacrament occurs at home using Mend, a family-based faith formation experience. Education is supplemented in our school and Encounter programs as well.
